West Seattle BBQ Shelter – Before and After

Many of our projects are smaller in nature.  While they take less time and have smaller budgets, they don’t get any less attention from our staff.  Except maybe for me.  I don’t get out there to get the periodic progress photos and get them posted up here on our blog for you to see.

Here are the before and after images of a detached BBQ shelter for a home in West Seattle that was ready for use by the 4th of July.

Before: An under utilized inside corner of a detached garage.  The backyard is plenty private, but the homeowners saw an opportunity for improvement.

After: A barbecue shelter to house the homeowner’s new grill, side burners and refrigerator.  Storage by way of open shelves, a slate privacy panel with bartop, wall sconces, recessed cans above and a skylight, complete the covered area.  Outdoor entertaining will be taken to an all-new level.

In this image, you can see the relationship the barbecue shelter has to the house.

And a little detail shot of the slate panel and associated bar top.

T & K, from the sounds of it, you’re already getting plenty of use out of this new amenity to your home.  Thank you for letting Lakeville Homes be a part of it.  Cheers!
