08/25 - Custom Home: Kirkland Stylized Traditional – Finish Work Begins

It’s been a while since I’ve posted an update of this project.  We’re now to the fun part, where the finishes start to pull together…the stuff that you’ll see in the end.

Sheetrock is up, the walls are taped and textured.  The hardwood floors have been installed.  Because of acute allergies, this home is carpet-free.  It’s hardwoods throughout most of the home, with the wet areas tile.  As you can see, the siding continues.  It’s not the critical path, and our guy is meticulous, so he just trods along with his craft.

Things will look like they are moving along now, as we near completion early next year.

Master Bedroom with vaulted ceilings.

Hallway and stairwell.

Greatroom.  The kitchen is in the area furthest away.

Exterior.
